How do online gift cards work?

Your Gift Card will arrive in your email inbox in the form of an e-Certificate. e-Certificates work very much the same way a standard gift card does. Each gift certificate comes with a coupon type code that can be applied to your purchase upon checkout. When you redeem your gift certificate by applying the "certificate code", the balance remaining on your gift card will be automatically deducted from your cart subtotal.

How do I receive my gift card?

You will receive an email containing your e-Certificate within 24 hours of your purchase. The e-Certificate will include all of the necessary information including links to our stores, the gift certificate code, and the amount. e-Certificates is the new, alternative way to present gift cards while reducing plastic and paper waste. This email can be forwarded and/or transferred to any one.

Can my e-Certificate expire?

Never. Since our company resides in California, the state law requires gift certificates of this nature to never expire.

Who can redeem an e-Certificate?

Gift cards can be redeemed by anyone who holds the gift certificate code. The certificate can be transferred to anyone at anytime.

Where can I redeem my e-Certificate?

You can redeem your certificate on any 1STOPLighting site and use it to purchase any product sold on our network of sites. Gift certificate purchases are treated like all other purchases.

Need to purchase a higher amount?

How do I check my gift card balance?

If I return a product that I purchased with a gift certificate, how will my credit be refunded?

If you return or cancel an item that you purchase with a gift certificate, credit will be refunded back to that same gift certificate. The gift certificate may then be used to make a future purchase with 1STOPlighting. We are unable to issue a check for credit on purchased made with gift cards.
